Hindi Chhand Kavya maiN Hindi Ghazal ki apni ek vishisht Pehchaan banti ja rahi hai. Aaj ghazal jis mukaam par Khadi dikhayii deti hai uske liye isne bahoot lamba safar tai kiya ha. Apni nazakat our nafasat ke liye mash_hoor iraani sabhyata main janmi is ghazal-sundari ka bachhpan Arbi-faarsi ke aangan maiN beeta, jawaani aayii toh urdu maiN burqa-nasieN hui.....our kahiN jawaani angraaii le-manchaloN ka dilna darke, ve uski ek jhalak paane pariishaaN our pashemaaN na hoN-----Aisa toh sambav hi nahiN hai. Aisa hi is ghazal-sundari ke saath bhi hua. Anya bhashaayeiN manchaloN ki tarah uski gali maiN chakker maarne lagieN, taktaki baandhey uskey jharokhey ko nihaarne lagieN.Sabhi iss rupsi ke deedaar hue. Natiza spasht hai ki aaj urdu ke saath-saath hindi, Punjabi, Guzraati,Maraathi our pashto miaiN bhi Ghazal  likhi/kahi jaa rahi hai. Lekin Jitni shiddat se hindi maiN is par kaam hota dikhayii de raha hai utna anya kisi basha maiN nahi dikhayii nahiN deta.
        Iss lambe safar maiN Ghazal ne apne tevar bhi badle our rang-roop banaav-shingaar main bhi kaafi parivartan kiye.
 
         waise Ghazal urdu kavya ki sarvadhik lokpriya vidhya hai. Woh sirf kavita hi nahiN balke adab our tehzeeb bhi hai. Is vidhya ka janam arab main hua our ek musalsal safar tai kerne ke baad faras hote hue Hindustaan pahoonchi. Hindustaan ne is tehzeeb our adab ki apnaya hinahiN balke iss vidhya ke vikaas maiN bhi mehtavpoorn yogdaan kiya hai. Agar ye kaha jaaye ki ghazal vidhya Hindustaan ki zameeN maiN sahi tarah se pallavit hui our jawaan bhi, toh ye koi ati-shyokti nahin hogi. Hindustaan maiN ghazal ne mazaaroN tatha nawaboN ke mehloN se Guzarte hue kothhey tak ka safar badi kushalta lke saath poora kiya hai. Waise toh Ghazal ki tamaam ParibhashayeiN haiNour tamaam logoN ne isey apni tarah se paribhashit kiya hai magar iski sabse pracheen pribasha hai_______
 
'Baaznaan Guftagoo karden'
 
Iska Arth hai Mehbooba se baat-cheet kerna. Mere hisaab se iss paribasha maiN sabhi tatva nihit haiN. Iss paribasha ke mool roop main chhipa hai mehbooba se baat-cheet karne ka ttareeka our saleeka, yani ki mehbooba se jo baat-cheet ki jaayegi uska ek tareeka hoga our woh ek saleeke ke daayre main rehker hi kee jaayegi. KyuN ke mehbooba se jo baat-cheet ki jaati hai woh prem (love) ki hi hoti hai our prem hotoN se kam,  aankhoN se jiyada bolta hai. iska matlab Ghazal ki basha sanket ki, isharoN ki basha hai. Prem ki baat badi sookshm, adab our tehzeeb se kee jaati hai, yaani basha our updesh ki wahaaN koi jaroorat ya jagah nahiN hai. Saath hi saath shayar ke dil ke dard ka izhaar, milan ki akansha, vireh ki peeda aadi sabhi isme shaamil haiN.
 
Isi Dour maiN kai mehtav-pooran shayroN ne apna rutba kaayam kiya hai jinhone hindi Ghazal ko ek ayaam diya hai....iss dour ke kutchh ullekhneeya shayar ie....faiz Ahmad 'faiz', Saahir-ludhiyanavi, kafi-Aazmi, Mazrooh Sultaanpuri, Mazaz aadi. In shayroN ki fehrist maiN kai aise shayar bhi the jo Ghazal ke doosre roop ke funn ko Ghazal ka sahi roop maante the. Asal maiN behas-e-mudhha^h ye tha ki Ghazal ki zubaan aakhir hai kya? Mere khayaal se Ghazal ki shakal zubaan se tai hoti hai, is liye kitabi Hindi ourr kitabi Urdu, dono hi basha ya toh kittabon main rehker dam torh deti hai ya phir apne liye aalochakoN ke saamne behas ke liye naye raaste khol deti hai, magar ye dono hi tehreereiN ghazal ki basha nahiN paati haiN. Ghazal ki basha aam bolchal ki basha hai. Ghazal shabnam se dhoop ke aangan main likhi tehzeeb ko wwoh daastaaN hai, jisne waqt our basha ke dariya kai utaar-chadaav ka manzer dekha hai.
